Favorite Video of the Week - February 28, 2008
Posted by Jenn Lowther and Nadia Nascimento
Hey everyone, I know Nadia and I said that this would be a weekly post and we’ve been derelict in our postings the last couple of weeks, but we’ve been super busy with lots of new and exciting things that are coming up at memelabs - stay tuned for updates on the changes, they will be coming soon. We promise that we’ll not neglect you any longer and to appease our readers, we have an extra video for you this week, but you’re going to have to do a little digging on your own as I’m not posting it on the site - it’s well worth the effort if you’ve not watched it yet.
And here are our videos for the week.

I’m torn on which video to give you this week, there were a couple that I liked and one that almost made me pee my pants, but alas that video is decidedly NSFW and thus I am unable to provide it for you here - but if you’d like to put your sleuth hats on and find it yourself, it stars Ben Affleck and Jimmy Kimmel (it’s all over youtube so you shouldn’t have any issues finding it).
For my SFW video of the week, I bring you “The Moment of Truth”. This new reality TV show is an absolute train wreck waiting to happen and this week it finally did. The video is on the long side, but if you’ve got an extra 5 minutes, it’s well worth the watch. While watching I actually was gasping aloud and squirming in my chair. The bit that gets me the most, is that after all the heart break she went through, she gets the last question wrong. If I were her (and judging from the answers she provides thank goodness I’m not) I would sue the show for screwing her over on a completely subjective question. Sit back and enjoy the gong show.

Gotta say- I love salon banter. Between weaves, acrylics, fades and updos, the trash talk is one of the realest things on the block coast to coast. That said, when this little girl in my favorite video of the week decides to “break it down” with the public in-between checking out a flip book and sips of sunny-d, her chilled out and chatty tone makes her the youngest and thereby most authentic parlor preachers. She makes me feel like she wants to say, “Girl, you GOT to listen to this!” Coupled with the flip of her, “Oh now stop” hand, she wins the VOW prize and my girlfriend of the year award. Lets get matching pedi’s, kid, and talk about how crap the red carpet Oscar dresses were this year.
