The “Your PBS” Video Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by Public Broadcasting Service, with its principal place of business at 2100 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA 22202 (“Sponsor” or “PBS”). The Contest is hosted and organized by Memelabs.com, with its principal place of business at 37 Dunlevy Avenue, Vancouver, BC, Canada, V6A 3A3 (“Organizer”). Contest is void where prohibited. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.
How to Enter
No purchase is necessary to enter or win this Contest. The Contest begins on February 12, 2010 at 5:00:00 p.m. and ends on April 25, 2010 at 11:59:59 pm EST (the “Entry Period”). Eligibility
This Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska but excluding U.S. territories, and entry to the Site is only open to persons of at least 18 years of age. Employees and relatives of employees of Sponsor and Organizer and any entities affiliated or related to Sponsor and Organizer ARE eligible to enter the contest, but they are not eligible to win a prize. Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release form (except where prohibited) affirming their agreement to all terms, conditions, and restrictions in these Official Rules.

Odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received. The Overall Prizes will be awarded by a panel of qualified judges selected by PBS, based on the Judging Criteria specified below. Judging Criteria
Videos will be judged based on whether they meet the video creation and entry requirements, how well they follow the directive provided by PBS, the quality of the video and whether the video is clever, engaging and/or innovative. A panel of five (5) judges will evaluate submissions based on the judging criteria.
Videos should be about thirty (30) seconds long. Videos can be shot with camera phones, digital video cameras, or any other digital moving image format. No still photo entries will be accepted. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. on April 25, 2010. There is no cost or purchase required to enter the Site or submit a video.
Video Creation Requirements
Voting
The public can vote daily on their favorite video at www.memelabs.com/pbs or www.pbs.org starting on February 12, 2010 at 12:00:01 am EST and ending on May 7, 2010 at 11:59:59 pm EST ("Voting Period"). The Voting Period is separated into eighty-five (85) Daily Voting Periods. A "Day" is defined as the 24 hours between 12:00:00 a.m. (midnight) EST and 11:59:59 p.m. EST. Sponsor's computer is the official time keeping device for the Contest.
The first time voters visit the site, they will be required to register by creating a username and password and providing their e-mail address. By submitting a vote, the visitor warrants and represents that they agree to the Official Rules. Voters may not Vote with multiple email accounts. Votes must be submitted and received to the Website during the Voting Period. Limit one (1) Vote per person/registered users/email address per Day.
At the close of the Voting Period, the submission that receives the most votes will be deemed the People's Choice Winner ("People's Choice Winner"). In the unlikely event that public voting results in a tie, the tied Submissions will be re-judged by the contest Judges based on the Judging Criteria stated in the rules. Any use of robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or like voting methods will void all such votes. Log Data

We use this information to monitor and analyze use of the Services and for the Site's technical administration. Emailing Via a Memelabs Account
As part of the Services, Memelabs Members are able to communicate with Memelabs Members and non-members through use of their accounts. Where Memelabs Members have selected the option of adding one or more email addresses to an online form, the message they create in the corresponding template can be sent from Memelabs to those email addresses on their behalf. These email addresses will be stored in the address book the Memelabs Member creates and will only be used for the purpose of sending the email communication to the addressee.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Memelabs Members. When you register through the Site and submit your Personal Information to create a profile webpage, Memelabs Users will see your "Screen Name" and the month and year you first registered with Memelabs ("Required Member Identifiers"). You can choose what other Personal Information you provide as part of your profile ("Other Member Information") and in some cases you can choose whether to share that information publicly on the Site by making selections via the "user preferences" section of your profile webpage. Providing Other Member Information is voluntary and should correlate with the degree of interaction you want to have with Memelabs Users. We recommend that you guard your anonymity and sensitive information.
Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information
We may share aggregated information which does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. Service Providers

Memelabs is very concerned with safeguarding your information. We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Emailing Via a Memelabs Account
As part of the Services, Memelabs Members are able to communicate with Memelabs Members and non-members through use of their accounts. Where Memelabs Members have selected the option of adding one or more email addresses to an online form, the message they create in the corresponding template can be sent from Memelabs to those email addresses on their behalf. These email addresses will be stored in the address book the Memelabs Member creates and will only be used for the purpose of sending the email communication to the addressee.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Memelabs Members. When you register through the Site and submit your Personal Information to create a profile webpage, Memelabs Users will see your "Screen Name" and the month and year you first registered with Memelabs ("Required Member Identifiers"). You can choose what other Personal Information you provide as part of your profile ("Other Member Information") and in some cases you can choose whether to share that information publicly on the Site by making selections via the "user preferences" section of your profile webpage. Providing Other Member Information is voluntary and should correlate with the degree of interaction you want to have with Memelabs Users. We recommend that you guard your anonymity and sensitive information.
Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information
We may share aggregated information which does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. Any such aggregated information will not contain your Personal Information.
Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform Site-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, web analytics and improvement of the Site's features), or to assist us in analyzing how our Services are used. Changing or Deleting Your Information
All Memelabs Members may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in their registration profile by contacting us. If you completely delete all such information, then your account may become deactivated. Memelabs is very concerned with safeguarding your information. We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored Personal Data (as defined in applicable state statutes on security breach notification) to you via email or conspicuous posting on this Site in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.
International Transfer

Our Policy Toward Children
Memelabs does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our files.
